Boarding at MerryMount
The
finest horse care is available to the MerryMount boarder. Four (4) barns
on the property provides stabling for many animals.
In
the main barn, where full care is available, there are roomy box stalls
that open onto a hard surfaced aisle. The stalls surround the indoor
arena. Boarder horses are stalled on the front aisle where the indoor wash
rack, the boarder tack room, the viewing lounge and rest rooms are
located.
Outside
are several small paddocks for individual turnout, an outdoor wash rack,
several working areas and many trails.
With
full care boarding, the horses are fed three (3) times daily and watered
as often as needed according to the weather. Stalls are cleaned daily
(holidays excluded). Turnout is daily except on weekends when boarders may
prefer to ride or turn out their horses themselves. In the winter, if a
blanket is provided, our staff will blanket the horses at night when the
weather is predicted to be below freezing.
MerryMount
boarders receive several 'perks'. Among them is a complimentary lesson
each week in a group lesson compatible to the horse/Rider.
Boarders
who have their own trailers may park them on the property at no extra
charge.
All
boarding is on a contractual basis. Call for further information
